THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM IS A CORRUPT SYSTEM

The Foster care system is an organization that aims to provide security and stability for children who were denied proper parental care. The system is meant to bestow a temporary, safe living arrangement upon kids where they are provided guardianship, kinship, and respect, concepts they may have been denied in their biological homes. While the objective of the organization may be to protect the youth, children may still be abused in foster care settings. How does foster care cause children distress? What kind of abuse do minors face? The foster care system is a corrupt establishment and has been responsible for iniquitous acts.

The organization, The National Council For Adoption (NCFA), seeks to see children thrive in nurturing, stable families. In 1980, The NCFA started as a project to enlighten America about the downsides of drafting a “Model State Adoption Act,” which would have caused dramatic changes to the adoption process in the United States recommending alterations to the state adoption policy. Dr. William L. Pierce set the act in motion and later became the president of the NCFA. The author asserts that the amount of children in foster care has continued to increase throughout the years. Parental drug abuse has been responsible for stripping children from their homes. Kids are placed into the system to be removed from home situations where they may be unsafe or parents may be unwilling or unfit to properly nurture their kids.
